I’m a writer, photographer, freelance filmmaker and producer with a background in ecology and urban planning. I’m driven by a fascination for finding the surreal in the ordinary.
My current work with the Ethereum Foundation Summer of Protocols fellowship is a series of speculative fiction stories that explore the nexus of cities and emerging collaborative technology.
My most recent short film, Sympoiesis, strings together dreamlike shots of fungi, crosswalks, roots and other awe-inspiring footage of everyday life to answer the question of where life is trying to go and what it is trying to become. The film was an official selection at the 2023 New Jersey Film Festival, a Montreal Independent Film Festival Nominee, and received an honorable mention at the Munich New Wave Short Film Festival.
I also dabble in parametric and audio-visual multimedia and am currently experimenting with combining photography with digital animatics techniques.
